About Courtney
Courtney Simelton, MSW, LCSW is a therapist for women and teens. She specializes in helping individuals overcome anxiety, depression, grief, OCD, and trauma through evidence-based treatment. Courtney aims to provide a compassionate and safe environment to work together through all that life presents.
Courtney has specialized training in working with women experiencing infertility, miscarriage/pregnancy loss, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Navigating infertility and/or pregnancy loss can leave you feeling confused and grief-stricken. Family and friends, though well intended, make harmful comments causing you to feel more isolated. Though you may feel hopeless, you don’t have to be alone. At For Her Counseling, Courtney will support you in finding effective strategies to manage the stressors you’re facing.
When not working, Courtney enjoys spending time with family and friends, going for a run, reading or finding a new local restaurant to try.
